Simpson's Video Features Epic 'Mapple' (Apple) Store Spoof
iPhone Savior —
The latest Simpsons episode opens with a brilliant, prolonged visit to the 'Mapple' Store" (Apple store). The epic announcement from Steve Mobs, Mapple's founder and Chief Imaginative Officer is painfully true which makes it hysterical. "He's a genius!", He's like a God who knows what we want!", proclaimed two obvious Mapple fanboys standing close by. Watch this Mapple store video spoof now.

Les Simpsons “aiment” Apple
w3sh magazine —

The Simpsons Skewers Apple, Their Fanatics

The Simpsons took on Apple and its fanatics in last night's episode, which was absolutely classic. And accurate. The USPS delivers Lisa's iPhone bill. "It's a gift from Apple!" Some favorite moments: Skewering the retail religion Lisa [gazing in wonder on the Apple Store]: "It's so ... sterile!" Skewering Apple's product promotion style Apple Store employee: "Our iCube ... is fuel by dreams and powered by imagination!" Skewering the ridiculous blinking light on Apple hardware Apple Store employee: ...

It was funny, apparently I’m not the only one that does not buy Apple’s campaigns about the greener laptop in the market unless “greener” is used to mean the amount of green dollars that you have to pay for one of those!

Simpsons get a ‘Mapple’ store with MyPods, a Brainiac Bar, MyCubes, and announcements from Steve Mobs
CrunchGear —
Here’s the Simpsons’ take on Apple – the basic premise being that the Springfield Mall gets a “Mapple” store and everyone buys MyPods, MyPhones, and MyCubes.
Everything’s pretty realistic, even down to the fine details like Steve Mobs (get it, “Jobs” but with an “M” instead?) urinating on each MyPhone before it gets shipped out and then investing the company’s profits in Microsoft, followed up by making out with Bill Gates on top of a pile of money.
Apple Gets Simpsonized
GEARFUSE —
Last night’s episode of The Simpsons featured a rather funny parody on Apple . The company, Mapple, produces Mypods, Myphones and Mycube. Lisa gets a Mypod and gets addicted to downloading. I won’t spoil the rest, just take five and check out the video. Yes, Steve Mobs makes an appearance. Link [ via ]
Funny Because It’s True: The Simpsons Parody Apple and Steve Jobs
Mashable! —
While I do own several Apple products, I’ve often joked about the cult-like nature of some of the company’s fanatical enthusiasts. The Simpsons captured this sentiment remarkably well in a parody of Apple aired last night on FOX.
Complete with “The Mapple Store,” a “MyPod,” a $1200 “MyBill,” and a Bart voice-over of a “Steve Mobs” keynote, the animated series completely nails the stereotypes of Apple products, employees, and users. Check it out in the video below:

Microsoft’s My Phone to make sharing pictures easier?
Gadgetell —
Section: Imaging, Web, Web 2.0, Websites When it comes to sharing pictures, the iPhone has lots of apps to handle that. Every other phone already has MMS to send photos to friends. Microsoft, a small start-up out of Redmond with a market cap of only $174B, is prepping its “My Phone” service.
The service, the name of which appears to be a “The Simpsons” reference, is supposed to take pictures from your Windows Mobile phone and send it to a Microsoft server. Then you go to a Microsoft site and see the pictures. You will even have the ability to do some photo editing on the ...
