Beet.TV — Just about a year ago, Beet.TV broke the news  that msnbc.com would be the first television network- affiliated online publisher to allow its videos to be embedded.  That strategy has been adopted by virtually all the U.S. news sites as well as Reuters.  Charlie Tillinghast, president as msnbc.com told me that instead of sending viewers to YouTube, why not make it easier for visitors to share the video from msnbc.com.  I've reposted that interview today. Lost Remote — Beet.tv says the most-watched video on MSNBC.com in 2008 was this clip of two men being reunited with a lion. It garnered 2.4 million views for the site. The video’s source? YouTube. The Today Show ran the clip as part of a segment and MSNBC.com posted the item on its site.
