In this newly launched Vista bashing adventure disguised as a "Get A Mac" ad, John Hodgman, who brilliantly plays PC is seen hosting a doofus bake sale; "Trying to raise money to fix Vista," Hodgman says. One more new Apple Get a Mac ad: Bake Sale
CrunchGear —
Apple wasn’t done the other day when it released two new Get a Mac TV spots. Suprise, suprise; this new one stabs at Vista too. Got to say Apple, it’s kind of getting old. We get it, Vista isn’t all that great. Time to move on.
Yet Another New “I’m a Mac” Commercial Targets Vista
Mobilewhack.com —
Apple isn’t willing to stop from making fun of rival’s famous OS. Entitled “Bake Sale” the new “I’m a Mac” commercial shows a PC who is desperate about making some money in order to develop its Vista. Is it only me that thinks Microsoft should respond to this? I mean it could be fun to see the Apple -Microsoft duel continue on prime-time TV. In the mean time Mac owes $10 million for a bite of that cookie, so PC is closer to its targeted income. Another Apple ad takes on Microsoft's ads
The Microsoft Blog —
Three days after launching two ads mocking Microsoft's $300 million ad campaign, Apple is striking again, this time with an ad featuring the 'PC Guy' having to rely on a bake sale in order to raise money to fix Vista. (Strange how the 'PC Guy' is using the 'V' word again): Next week, of course, the subject changes from Vista to its successor, Windows 7, which will be shown off at Microsoft's Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles. Apple seems to be trying to mock Vista as much as it can before then.

Apple tweaks Microsoft over Vista ad spending
Technology: Technology blog | guardian.co.uk —
Last month I noted that Microsoft was dropping - early - its Seinfeld-inspired campaign (I'm not saying "inspired Senfeld campaign" though) in favour of a new bunch that go more towards Apple's "I'm a PC/I'm a Mac" thing, taking it on full-frontal. I wrote: And what is Microsoft doing now? It ...
