Ah, now this is a bit more solid pricing information. Verizon's testman pre-launch site now lists the BlackBerry 9530 Storm for $219.99 under a 2 year contract. Not quite below the $199 threshold set by the iPhone 3G as predicted by ...
Verizon Wireless Blackberry Storm to retail for $219 with a 2 year contract
Boy Genius Report —
The Blackberry Storm hit the Verizon Wireless staging testman website with pricing and details! It’s coming in about where we expected - $219 with a 2 year contract, $289 with a 1 year contract and whopping $519 for full retail. The price does not include any rebates or New Every Two discounts so the final price out the door on the launch date will be lower. Sweet! Unfortunately, the page does not contain a release date but we expect a formal announcement from Verizon very soon now that it’s up on the test site. BlackBerry Storm pricing and release date revealed?
CrunchGear —
If we piece together a couple of Verizon sources, the BlackBerry Storm will launch on November 17, 2008 for $219 with a two-year contract. None of this is of course confirmed through VZW, but it seems to fit the timetable and price point.
Verizon needs to get this BlackBerry out before the holidays as some suits will want to treat themselves to a new CrackBerry as a stocking stuffer. Plus, Verizon does not have a true iPhone killer yet and while the Storm will not slay the king, it’s the closest thing on the market so the price must be close to the iP3G’s $199 entry price.
Once again, none ...

Alternatively, Verizon will offer the smartphone with a one-year contract priced from $289.99. The month-to-month handset price is the far more expensive $519.99, reflecting the absence of a long-term contract.

Blackberry Storm Pricing Leaked
GEARFUSE —
[image] Over on Howard Forums, a cellphone forum I stopped going to years ago, some kind stranger was nice enough to leak a screenshot of some placeholder pages on Verizon Wireless ‘ website. The Blackberry 9530 Storm is going to cost $219 with a two-year contract and a killer $519 if you decide to pay month-to-month. A one-year contract upgrade will net you the Storm for $289. If you want the Storm, I’d say this is your best bet. Don’t get me wrong. These screens could very well be doctored or ’shopped, but for now, it’s nice to have a little more information on Verizon’s upcoming iPhone killer. [image] [image] Link [ via ] ...
Verizon BlackBerry 9530 Storm priced at $219.99
IntoMobile - Cell Phone News, Information, and Analysis —
After some hefty guesswork, we’ve finally got a solid pricetag for the Verizon BlackBerry Storm based on a Verizon test site. On a two-year contract the Storm will cost $219.99, $289.99 on one year and finally $519.99 sans contract. The ballpark we had previously guessed based on the approximate prize value of their contest was $299 on contract and $499 off contract. It’s good to see the contract price as significantly cheaper than that, and part of me can’t help but think it has something to do with undercutting AT&T’s BlackBerry Bold which is going for $299. Don’t get me wrong, I love ...

Possible BlackBerry Storm Price leaks on Verizon Staging Server
I4U News —
... The lowest price for the BlackBerry Storm would be $219.99 with a 2 year contract. A one-year contract would cost $289.99 and the month-to-month price of the Storm would be $519.99. Pricing the Storm slightly above the iPhone 3G is just betting on BlackBerry fans not minding paying $20 more than they would have for the iPhone - not really a nice move. Verizon is hopefully releasing the launch date and pricing for the BlackBerry Storm soon so we get clarity. More details on Howardforums . Via ...
