Joystiq — ... would have you believe, the Xbox 360 has surpassed the one million mark for consoles sold, whereas the PS3 has done much more admirably, pushing over three million systems on the populace. The Xbox 360 achieved this after roughly four years on the market (it released in Japan in December, 2005), wheras the PS3 claimed its figure three years after launching in November, 2006.
