All about Microsoft — ... and Ars Technica are both reporting that the public can get their hands on the public Windows 7 Beta via the TechNet link. But, as expected, that site seems to be down, too, due to too many folks hitting the servers. I’ve asked Microsoft for more information. Stay tuned if you’e champing at the bit for the bits.

Windows 7 is Microsoft's new OS, and they're looking at a release somewhere in the second half of this year. This is a public beta, which means that it's unsupported.
