I’ve never sat inside FS’s cockpit even once, but I feel like it’s been part of my life for almost as long as I’ve been using personal computers (that would be 31 years as of this summer). Some of the obituaries I’ve been reading for Flight Simulator say it was born in 1982. It’s really even more venerable than that.
