The Paradox Mouse is one part steampunk, one part taxidermy
Boing Boing Gadgets — The Paradox Mouse takes the usual raw materials of steampunk aesthetic — wood, brass, copper, gears and typewriter keys — and supplements them with the morbidly ironic: a mouse's skull, shoulder blades and spine. Yeeg. Paradox Mouse [Tentacle Paradox via Gizmodo]

Shaped to mimic the a real mouse itself, Pon has carved the Paradox Mouse in LEDs with extra peripherals like a mouse skull, spine and shoulder blades, but all so efficiently embedded. Pon has a perfect custom mouse pad made to go with the insane mouse he has created. Are we cool in terming this Steampunk or are we too fascinated? DVICE Atom Feed — ... specimen. That's because it incorporates the skeleton of a formerly living and breathing mouse. Yes, it's a mouse made out of a mouse skeleton. Dubbed the Paradox mouse, it's got a spine going up its center and has a mouse skull in a cage in the middle. It's certainly striking looking, although I'm not sure how comfortable it looks for regular use. But somehow I don't think comfort was a driving force behind this design. Overall, though, pretty impressive work. The Tentacle Paradox, Via BoingBoing
