Snow Leopard Update Will Not Kill Hackintoshes
We said that we would have to wait for a final release of Mac OS X 10.6.2 to be sure whether Apple had really killed off support for the Intel Atom processor, and we were right.

Hackintosh Netbooks May Be Safe in 10.6.2 After All [Hackintosh]
Lifehacker — ... we reported that the then-current build of Mac OS X 10.6.2 took away support for the Intel Atom processor , which could break Hackintosh netbooks. It turns out, though, that the newest build has re-enabled Atom support. However, we'd still recommend being cautious when 10.6.2 officially rolls don't upgrade right when the final release comes out until you know what's in it but hopefully this will assuage some fears. Snow Leopard update does not kill Atom support, at least for now
