The new LE700 line-up announced for the US market, which claims to 'bring LED technology to the mainstream,' are built around proprietary Full-Array LED backlighting diffuser sheets, which promise more-even illumination. The super-slim TVs will come in 32-, 40-, 46- and 52-inch screen sizes; all offer 120Hz frame-rate conversion and have a quoted response time of 4 milliseconds. The remote control is large and cluttered but the onscreen interface is coherent. Connectivity is respectable: four HDMI inputs and two USB ports.
