Build a postal scale from old discs and scrap wire
CrunchGear — Check out this latest Instructable: a DIY postal scale, made solely from small bits of metal and old CDs. What a great way to stick it to the man and not buy one of those high-falutin’ digital postal scales. Of course, accuracy might be a little bit of an issue, but it’s still better then nothing.
