Once you have done so, you can remotely access your hard disk from anywhere, via a web-based log-in; meaning that there is no need to have a static IP and no router configuration required, and it is iPhone accessible.

... so it’s not a practical solution for many people out there. However, this PogoPlug definitely is.
The PogoPlug is by far the easiest NAS solution that I’ve seen. You just plug it into the wall, then plug in any USB hard drive. The configurations are handled on the PogoPlug site, which also allows you to access your files from anywhere. For $79, I’d definitely recommend this to anyone needing a simple 1-drive NAS solution.
