A digital system that mimics vinyl turntables without the vinyl, this upgrade to the CDJ-1000 CD Turntable, is fitted with a 6.1-inch WQVGA screen (480×234), and just below it a touch-sensitive area called the Needle Search Pad, which lets the user get to a specific song with a mere flick of a finger. In addition to the screen, it's got a "Needle Pad," which lets you jump to a specific point in a song with the touch of a finger. It plugs into a number of devices to load up with music, from laptops to iPods to DS cards, which is certainly more convenient than lugging around crates of records.
