Hands on with the Polaroid Instant Digital Camera
Yahoo! Tech Advisors —
... Desperate to try to replace the instant-developing film that made it famous with something for the digital age, Polaroid has finally launched a camera that snaps digital pics and gives you a printout within about a minute. The Polaroid Instant Digital Camera is as big as its name (weighing 10 oz.), a clear first-generation product that will appeal to relatively few buyers, due to the generally poor quality of the prints. The camera itself is a five megapixel model with a fixed focus lens (digital zoom only), and quality is about what you'd expect from something with such ...
CES 2009: Polaroid shows off PoGo digital camera
Obsessable News Feed —

If you miss the instant gratification of printing your photos out on the spot then this could be a decent option. Photos printed on the camera are printed on a ...

The concept is very much like the Land cameras sold by Polaroid; you insert a film cartridge, make a photo, and a minute later you have a colorful print of whatever you snapped. The camera itself is a pleasantly low $49.95, but film cartridges will run you $21.95 for a twin pack of 10 prints. For ...
