Notebooks and Netbooks will grow through economic downturn
PR News: — ... have still been seeing some very strong sales over recent years, and those sales will continue to grow through the economic downturn. This segment will grow in the U.S. by 15.6 percent for 2008, 6.7 percent in 2009 and 10.7 percent in 2010. IDC reckon that the growth will be even stronger internationally, 31.5 percent for 2008, 15.2 percent in 2009 and 19.5 percent by 2010. IDC forecast that notebooks and netbooks will sell twice as many units as PC’s and servers. Read the full article
