Apparently, you can either send faxes cellphone-style using the machine's built-in keypad, or send documents stored on an SD card (but not a USB drive, it seems). Any faxes received are simply displayed on the device's 3.9-inch LCD and, yes, they can be printed out as well. Working without the fed paper, the KX-PW608 can handle Word docs and files saved in other formats, PDF and the likes, while the machines big built-in buttons and LCD screen making it easy for typing and reading messages.
