Palm Stock Jumps 34.85% On Palm Pre News [Palm Pre]

Despite the stupid Pre name, Palm has jumped up $1.15 to $4.45. Doesn't look like a lot, but that's 34.85%, which is like a 1,548% in the Investors Confidence Index, and 543% in dog years.

Palm's Pre Smartphone Might Turn Palm Around
Fast Company - Technology — ... on the Pre even extends onto the non-screen surface of the phone, which sounds pretty interesting. Though there's no pricing info yet, it seems such a breakthrough device for Palm that the guys over at Gizmodo noticed the company's stock price jumped nearly 35% after the Pre was announced.
