... are where it's at. So what are the chances of a cheap iPhone at Christmas? Well, to be honest, it's a hope more than an expectation. Speaking after the official annoucement, Orange UK boss Tom Alexander said that the company is more likely to look at other ways of increasing 'value', such as including accessories and even pre-loading certain applications. Which is better than nothing, but not really the extra cash in our pockets we're hoping for. It is expected that increased competition will be made regarding pricing of the iPhone, but due to it being a hit phone that does sell, Orange seem to want to increase value offered rather than competing on price by giving accessories with it or free pre-loaded applications. I personally hope for the former.

As of now, pricing information has not been released but it was noted that Orange would be looking to increase “value” instead of trying to undercut O2 in terms of pricing.
