Well lookie here - apparently there are a few companies other than TV manufacturers planning to unleash some sexy new gear on us at CES. One such company, from the looks of things, is OQO. It has been quite a while since the UMPC manufacturer made waves with its Model 02 but according to an email for Digital Experience, a preview event held the day before CES opens its doors, OQO has a fresh new model set to be unveiled:

Hopefully that ll show a marked improvement on its running speed, which has previously struggled with Vista s intensive system demands. No word on prices yet, but like its predecessors, we d be expecting something fairly premium. For the chance to run a full blown Vista computer in a pocket-sized chassis, we expect it ll be well worth the extra outlay. Yes, OQO is coming with a touchscreen PC. The latest ultra mobile PC from the house of OQO is going to be a high-end touchscreen UMPC with typical netbook specification. The Model 2+ is based on Intel's netbook-special Atom processor, and offers nice specification including the world’s first PC OLED display, 2GB RAM and 3G. But the best thing about this gizmo is its touch-sensitive OLED display. No word on other details.
