Acer’s netbook grows to 10 “
SolSie.com —
Few days ago I had a chance to test out the 10” HP Mini-Note Netbook, after toying on some smaller display Netbooks. I admit, 10” display seems to be the right good balance between usability and portability.
While all the Netbook have almost the same specs, their packaging seems to be the main differentiator. And Acer One has made a known name in this crowded space. Today Acer announces the Acer Aspire One with 10” display.
“Despite the recent problems of the financial markets and general economic uncertainty, the netbook and notebook markets will continue to grow in 2009” said Gianfranco Lanci, President & CEO, Acer Inc. “With companies focused on containing the crisis, consumers and products designed for them become more ...
Acer Aspire One with 10 inch screen gets official
Liliputing —
After several weeks of leaks, Acer is making it official. The company has introduced a 10 inch version of the Acer Aspire One netbook. The new model will be a lot like the original Aspire One, but it will have a larger screen with the same 1024 x 600 pixel resolution.
The Acer press release makes it sound like the 10.1 inch display will be the best thing since sliced bread. It’s “designed for an optimal web browsing experience and Internet productivity.” But really, this is just Acer’s entry into a market that Asus, MSI, Lenovo, HP, and others have already thoroughly treaded.
Still, the new Aspire One does look like a nice little computer. It will weigh 1.18kg or about 2.6 pounds, comes with a 6 cell ...

I'm guessing you got all of those. If you also said optional Wi-Max and 3G connectivity, you get a bonus point. If you further guessed that the Aspire One is "designed for a fast, simple and utterly cool online life" then you were cheating. That comes straight from the press release.
Price and launch date are as yet still unknown. We'd guess cheap and soon. ...
