Microsoft Windows 7 to Have Multiple Versions

... The above screenshot, taken in Windows 7 beta 7025, shows that the operating system will have multiple versions -- including Starter and Ultimate. Unfortunately, there's no word yet on what each will contain.
It goes without saying that while we knew this was a possibility, we've been seriously wishing against it. We hope these are fake, but seriously Microsoft...don't even think about this.

The latest beta of Windows 7 supposedly contains this scary little screen hinting at numerous packages of Microsoft's upcoming OS. There are fewer variations to confuse consumers than Windows Vista, let alone Rob's doomsaying parody... but come on, Microsoft. This is still four more flavors of Windows 7 than you should be selling.
