I signed up for the freebie Hotmail account, which provided me with a live.com email address. Though 5GB of space limits what a user can do, for the casual user it is sufficient. After viewing the site and what it offers, it has a long way to go in order to compete with what Google offers for iGoogle users. IMHO.
