Mintpass' tiny Mintpad brings handwriting back from the 20th century

Mintpad Wireless Post-Its Good For Classroom Note-Passing, Digital-Style [Digital Post-it]
Gizmodo — ... expansion. Plus it's a 320 x 240-pixel 2.9-inch touchscreen note-taker. It won't handwriting-recognize your scrawls though, it simply replaces Post-Its for reminder notes. And you can send your notes over the net to other Mintpad owners. Will it replace crumpled paper-notes bearing "Steve fancies you!" messages thrown between desks in class—or displace the humble SMS? Could do, but since it's out in South Korea for about $156, probably not. [Pocketables via Engadget] ...

Mintpad: Passing notes goes digital
DVICE Atom Feed — ... note, in full color and complete with bad penmanship, to your recipients via Wi-Fi. The catch? You can send the notes only to other Mintpad owners. Still, it's a fun feature on an otherwise everyday portable media player/Web browser/camera with 4GB of memory. Although the $156 Mintpad is only available in Korea, we wouldn't mind seeing its abilities put into some kind of iPhone app. Mintpass Mintpad, via Engadget

Popgadget: Personal Tech for Women — ... PC - a 3-inch TFT screen, 1.3MP camera, and 4GB memory for playing music, videos and storing photos (with support for upto 8GB microSD). The interesting thing however is, you can create notes similar to Post-It notes and send it out to your friends via Wi-Fi. And if you can manage to - have fun blogging, browsing, or chatting with your friends. Pretty awesome considering that the MintPad is priced at justl $157. Bad news - it is available only in Korea.
