Mintpad: Passing notes goes digital
DVICE Atom Feed — ... but it will send the original note, in full color and complete with bad penmanship, to your recipients via Wi-Fi. The catch? You can send the notes only to other Mintpad owners. Still, it's a fun feature on an otherwise everyday portable media player/Web browser/camera with 4GB of memory. Although the $156 Mintpad is only available in Korea, we wouldn't mind seeing its abilities put into some kind of iPhone app. Mintpass Mintpad, via Engadget

The MintPad: a Post-It sized DAP with built-in tablet
Boing Boing Gadgets — ... is a good idea... just don't expect to get a lot of use out of that primary function. Luckily, the MintPad does more than just that: it's also a portable media player, camera and web browser, with 4GB of internal memory. It all adds up to a rather unique little DAP that sets itself apart from the competition with a single unique function that will only go unappreciated because the community it depends upon will likely not be there. It's on sale now in Korea for $156. Mintpass Mintpad [Official Site via DVICE]

Mintpad: The Digital Post-It
GEARFUSE — ... Pictochat is also a portable media player, camera and web browser. With this lil’ tablet, you can send full color notes to any other Mintpad users with its built-in WiFi capabilities. It packs 4GB of internal memory, which is a lot considering the IMOVIO iKIT only comes with 64MB and is $15 dollars more expensive. The letdown is that you can’t pull the screen off and stick Post-It notes all over your fridge , this thing is purely digital. I know, it’s a total bummer. Link [ via ]

Mintpad is a digital notes taker by heart but PMP by mind
Tech Ticker — ... to digitize the old way of taking notes and send it wirelessly over Wi-Fi. Even though the tranmission of notes is limited to other Mintpad users, it can be fun. If you’re not sold yet with this feature then you can always count on its PMP capabilities. It has got 4GB storage as well as a camera and a HTML browser to brag about. Ok it does not compete directly with iPod but hey iPod isn’t capable of taking hand-written notes too! Going for Korean equivalent of $156. Product Page [Via BoingBoinggadgets] Advertisement: ...
