Not surprisingly, the death of Michael Jackson has dominated Internet chatter and overwhelmed social networking sites, according to preliminary data from Nielsen.
More than 16 percent of the Twitter updates posted to the micro-blogging site in the last 24 hours have been in relation to Jackson, who passed away Thursday at the age of 50.
