The Akoya P8610 model looks great for media playback on its own, with its large 1680 x 945 resolution screen and a Blu-ray drive for access to high definition content. The only issue there is that you'll be missing out on some picture detail, as that resolution's slightly under the 1080p supported by Blu-ray discs.
