MSN Music should not be seen as a direct competitor to Spotify or the recently announced Google Music service, according to the portal's Executive Producer. Speaking to TechRadar, MSN's Peter Bale reserved praise for Spotify's model, but pointed out that the MSN Music download and streaming service was very different. YouTube has announced it is to partner Will Ferrell's comedy website Funny Or Die, offering up a channel featuring a boatload of the site's comedic content. Funny Or Die has been around since 2007 and is the brainchild of Will Ferrell and writer Adam McKay. The site has garnered something of a cult following due to the amount of exclusive skits that they post, usually with A-list talent involved. A website offering unauthorised downloads of The Beatles music has been handed a lawsuit by EMI but it is bizarrely claiming it has rights to the music it is offering.
