Sega lighters set on fire what Nintendon't
Joystiq —
Now that there's a lighter in the shape of a Sega Saturn, we think Segata Sanshiro would insist that people start smoking. Through November 6, retailer Net-You is accepting pre-orders on these beautiful Sega Hard Memorial Zippo Lighters made by Banpresto, which feature the likenesses of the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Saturn, for ¥10,500 (roughly $115) each. That's quite a bit more than you'd pay for the real systems in Akihabara, but, then, the real systems can't get your "just light the bag" charcoal ...
Sega Zippos Are Cool Becasue Why?

... brandishing one of these. “I love video games and I smoke, what do you do?”
I don’t smoke but I was attracted to these pics upon first glance. They left a nice impression. Was the Japanese version of the Saturn look like this? Mine was all black. I wish I could say that about something else.
You can pre-order yours starting November 5th, but you can start smoking right now if you please.

Sega lighters: smoking will never be cool again

... Lighters are more often than not outside the scope of our coverage here at Engadget, and while we don't condone smoking or lighting anything on fire... well, these are just awesome. Banpresto's launched a pre-order of these two beautiful ...

... But I digress. Want these awesome Sega lighters? You’ll have to save up ¥10,500 for each one (about $114 USD), get out your Japanese-to-English dictionary and head over to NetYou. While you’re doing that, I’ll be working on my ...

... lighters in collaboration with Banpresto. Don't expect to see too many of these classic Sega consoles lighting up butts. They're only available for order until November 6 and for the steep asking price of 10500 yen, about $114 USD, each. Of course, if you light your cigars with hundred dollar bills anyway, we're sure you won't mind dropping that much on a Sega lighter. Sega Genesis and Saturn Lighters, Or Why Sonic No Longer Runs 5Ks [Sega]
Gizmodo —
... It's easy to think, hey, America and Japan aren't so different! Then Sega licenses fantastic, official Genesis/Saturn lighters ($114). And I can't even begin to imagine the Truth campaign that would stem from the controversy here. [Net-you via ...
Sega lighters light your cigarettes with nostalgia
DVICE Atom Feed —
These amazing custom Zippo lighters are designed to look like the Sega Genesis and the Sega Saturn, and my god, do they look great. Even better: they're officially licensed by Sega! Which probably is why they cost $114 each, which is close to how much these systems cost when they were first released. But man, I don't even smoke and I want that Genesis one. So damned cool.

Sega & Cigarettes: Passions That Can Finally Burn Together

... problem? The lighters are priced in the neighborhood of $155 each, which is WAY outside what I was expecting. The honest-to-goodness Zippo lighters are very good representations of those original consoles, and I've always been fond of Sega's technology at play, but who is prepared to spend that kind of coin for such a novelty? I'll have to find other ways to express my badass/pyromaniac side. I suspect that few of us these days have that kind of money to burn.
Order your lighter from Net You in Japan ...
