Inauguration day ceremony captured in satellite pics
TG Daily - All News — ... in the sky. It is currently orbiting at 423 miles above the Earth's surface. Its optics can discern objects 16 inches in size. And yesterday, it was used to captured images which now appear on Popular Science's website. The images have a been re-sampled to a resolution of approximately 19.6 inches per pixel. Still impressive. See the Popular Science article , and a close-up of the nearby ceremony , along with a huge vista of the entire crowd gathering back beyond the Washington Monument . busy
