IDOU is connected to other devices via DLNA, a standard home multimedia networking protocol used in the PS3, PSP but also PCs and many set top boxes or network attached storage. IDOU is powered by Symbian Foundation +, in case you wonder. Sony Ericsson had no Android news to share tonight.

At the MWC 2009, Sony Ericsson officially announced the Idou, a 12 Megapixel mobile phone. The Idou has a 3.5-inch 640×320 touchscreen display. The phone runs Symbian Foundation OS, which is based on S60.
The phone is just like Sony Ericsson’s version of 5800 XpressMusic.

You'll have huge file sizes and really, how good can the optics be in a phone that size?
