The HTC MAX 4G has been announced as the first mobile phone with GSM/WiMAX compatibility, for now it will be released in Russia with WIMAX Carrier ”Yota”. The HTC MAX 4G will also support GSM networks from any other GSM carrier. Basically you will have two carriers, a GSM and a WIMAX carrier, calls between two WiMAX devices will be automatically redirected to VOIP instead of GSM.
