In late September, Microsoft began rolling out a new version of Hotmail (aka Windows Live Hotmail or MSN Hotmail). All users will be switched to the new service this week. According to Microsoft, the new Hotmail comes complete with a slew of improvements, including a new look, a new contact list, a new calendar, a new way to attach files, and a new spell checker. The new Hotmail is also supposed to be faster.
