Gameboy gets implanted inside a TI-83 series calculator
MAKE Magazine —
... This hack shows how to stuff a Nintendo Gameboy inside the housing of a TI-83 series calculator. We've seen the cool things these calculators can be hacked to do, but we haven't seen someone take it this far. Unfortunately, I think it would be more impressive if he got the TI-83's hardware to play Gameboy games, rather than just soldering the keys to the original Gameboy's controller. Oh well, still a nice site with lots of pics of the build.

GameBoy color in a TI-83
Hack a Day —
... [Mark] had a broken TI-83 graphing calculator and an overwhelming urge to play Pokemon in math class. The solution to his predicament, obviously, is to hack a GameBoy color into the body of his TI-83. He gutted the calculator and connected the front buttons to the contacts on the GameBoy. After some cramming and taping bits together, he got it all working. Now he just needs to find a way to make the cartridge a little bit less conspicuous. ...
Game Boy Calculator Earns A Perfect 10 From The Nerd Judges [Game Boy]
Kotaku —
[image] You know how it goes. You're waist-deep in physics exams, calculations and numbers out the wahzoo, and all you really want to do is play Tetris. Whipping out a Game Boy in the lab, that's poor form, but whipping out a calculator? That's cool. Cooler when your calculator isn't a calculator at all, but this cleverly-disguised...yes, Game Boy.
