Apparently the testing was done in an urban environment (which is good, because it’s representative of the real-world) and confirmed 120Mbps was possible. Just to put that in perspective, it’s well over 30x as fast as 3.5G, and 2x as fast as Fibre. The results will be taken in to deliver further work on the LTE ecosystem development.
Just think, as and when this rolls out, I’ll be able to check my Facebook REALLY fast
