Fujitsu LifeBook U820 Gets AT&T Broadband Connect
Ubergizmo — Folks who have been hankering after the Fujitsu LifeBook U820 now have greater reason to rejoice - it is now available with integrated HSDPA thanks to AT&T BroadbandConnect. There will be a couple of 3G-enabled versions available, where the $1,199 model will run on Windows Vista Home Premium while the Vista Business version retails for $1,449. There's one drawback though for those who are trying to find ways to cut costs these days - both models must come with a 120GB hard drive option, whereas its non-3G counterpart can hold a smaller 60GB hard drive. Guess this means 64GB SSDs cannot be included either. Those who pick up the 3G-enabled U820 will be able to enjoy benefits such as :- Two-year warranty extension ...

Fujitsu LifeBook U820 gets US 3G HSPA option
SlashGear — Fujitsu’s LifeBook U820 UMPC is now available in the US with integrated 3G wireless broadband.  The option - which uses AT&T’s HSUPA Connect network - is priced at $150, and is only available with the $150 120GB hard-drive update.  Two versions of the 3G-enabled U820 are available, one with Vista Home Premium, priced from $1,199, and the other with Vista Business, priced from $1,449. Unfortunately it does not appear that you can specify the 64GB SSD with the 3G connectivity, though given that Fujitsu charge $1,100 to upgrade to the solid-state drive that perhaps won’t frustrate too many buyers.  What picking a 3G model does get you is a free warranty extension - doubling it to two years, which would normally cost ...

Fujitsu Lifebook with AT&T BroadbandConnect appears, several people really excited
Engadget — As if Fujitsu's U820 wasn't interesting enough already, news that it can now be customized and purchased with AT&T BroadbandConnect should be enough to convince you that it's... uh interesting. Fujitsu's site gives you two options for packing your U820 with integrated HSDPA -- a Vista Home Premium version for $1199, and one with Vista Business for $1499. It looks you'll be forced to go with the 120GB hard drive if you want the 3G, since neither ...
