On a personal note, I would like to mention that the sound of a 5.25″ floppy being read by my Apple IIe is something that I’ll never forget (along with the brrzzzzzzz sound of a dot matrix printer, of course). The disk I usually had in there was Zork. Hm, I wonder what happened to that system… It’s likely it was eaten by a grue.
See? I am old. Now get off my lawn.
