Mozilla looking to bring Firefox Mobile (Fennec) to HTC Touch Pro next week

Fennec is currently in Alpha 2 phase so it isn’t too surprising to see the Fennec guys prepping for a milestone launch next week. And obviously eyes will be upon the developers over at xda-developers to port Fennec to various other HTC handsets.
Fennec’s arrival as a Windows Mobile beta should move Fennec into the Windows Mobile underground as the world awaits this most capable of browsers to enter the mix.

Como había anunciado el propio CEO de Mozilla, iban a presentar varias versiones alpha de Firefox Mobile Fennec antes del lanzamiento oficial. Tuvimos el Alpha 1 hace 2 meses y el Alpha 2 hace 1 mes. Ahora vemos, en el propio wiki de Mozilla, que tienen pensado lanzar la nueva versión de Fennec la primera o segunda semana de febrero.

As you can see, this doesn’t mean that all the WM handsets out there will be able to run Fennec. Even so, this is a good start for the mobile Firefox browser, and I guess it won’t be long until we get to see a full WM version of it.
Mozilla developers are probably working at this very moment for the Windows Mobile Fennec, so let’s wait for February and see what it will be like.
