Leaked photos have surfaced showing an absolutely, drop dead sexy HTC handset loaded with WiMax data capabilities. What you’re looking at is an image of a WiMAX-enabled HTC Touch, the T8290. Details are sketchy at best, but it’s looking like this thing is loaded to the teeth with a massive 3.8″ 480 x 800 WVGA display, WiMAX + GSM, 802.11g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and video calling capabilities. It would be nice to see a phone like this hit Sprint’s XOHM network as a sort of peace offering for our missing out on the Touch HD, but word is this device is going to the Ruskies on Yota first (that is, if we ever see it at all).
