PSPgo sold 28,275 units during its first day of availability in Japan, according to data from Famitsu publisher Enterbrain. The new Sony handheld went on sale in the country yesterday, a month after launching in Europe and the US. According to Media Create, PSP sold 32,865 units during the week ended October 25. PSPgo s first day sales are encouraging then, although Andriasang points out that Nintendo s DSi sold 170,000 units in the two days following its launch last November, while PSP-3000 managed over 140,000 sales in four days when it released in October 2009.
