Disposable Paper Laptop Concept
Mobilewhack.com — ... device. And since it’s a disposable laptop we would also need to be able to recycle the paper laptop fast and without any unwanted waste. The computer would be made of different layers which can be replaced whenever they get damaged so you wouldn’t have to throw it right away. Instead you would be able to keep using it while recycling the damaged materials. The concept laptop is not available anywhere at this point, but we’d certainly love to play with one. via Yanko Design Tags: concept , disposable , Laptops , paper ...

Gizmodo — ... But if you think about it, we're heading toward this kind of design anyway: flimsy, dirt-cheap netbooks seem to have a short intended lifespan, and hell, even my polycarbonate MacBook felt like it was beginning to disintegrate after about two years of heavy use. It may not have been cardboard, but in its own way, it sure felt disposable. [Yanko] ...

Umweltfreundlicher Laptop aus Pappe
Ausgefallene Gadgets & Geschenkideen — ... Die Idee, Technik einfach in Pappe zu verpacken um so dem Produkt einen Öko-Anstrich zu verleihen, ist nicht neu. Disposable Paper Laptop could turn out to be quite indispensable
Popgadget: Personal Tech for Women — ... environment to deal with. That maybe an overstatement, but we love that the idea of recyclable laptops is budding in such creative minds. Park's idea is that of a eco-friendly laptop that uses recycled paper or pulp for its external casing instead of metal or plastics. The laptop itself, he proposes, will be designed in "layers" so that you can easily throw away damaged portions without being accused of creating more e-waste. Sounds great, even if only on paper. Will Disposable Laptops become popular in the future?
Coolest Gadgets — ... Our friends at Yanko are working overtime again trying to come up with environmentally friendly electronics which won’t pollute our landfills. And this time they’ve come up with a recyclable paper laptop. That’s right. A paper computer which can be thrown away once it’s no longer wanted or needed. Considering Moore’s Law means computing power doubles about every 18 months, a disposable laptop may be a good idea. Here’s the thinking … ...
