Chevrolet to unveil 2011 Volt tomorrow
TG Daily - All News — Los Angeles (CA) – Following a spy video that surfaced on the Internet in August and official pictures of the vehicle that were released in September, General Motors (GM) is set to officially exhibit and discuss the 2011 Chevy Volt at the LA Auto Show tomorrow. The company said that “top members of the Volt production team” will be available to answer questions of the media and provide more insight in the car’s technology and features. TG Daily - Trendwatch News — They'd better make this some damn good car for people to buy it. At 40,000$, it would not only have to be economical to run but also a really good car! If they can come up with a light enough battery package and a powerful enough drivetrain... and if they can make a decent handling car for once... then they might have a shot. Anything else and they will not sell enough of these to make a profit. Something GM has been struggling with for years already... This is either an opportunity or suicide for them. And I'm not sure they're brilliant enough for it to be the former...
