Ballmer ordered to testify in ‘Vista Capable’ class-action lawsuit
MacDailyNews — ... a basic version of Vista," Tartakoff reports. "Microsoft had opposed plaintiffs' motion asking that Ballmer testify, saying that other Microsoft executives had made the key decisions in the 'Vista Capable' program," Tartakoff reports. "But in her ruling (read it here, PDF), Judge Marsha Pechman said Friday that plaintiffs had shown that Ballmer may have had unique knowledge." Tartakoff reports, "Ballmer must testify in the next 30 days for a maximum of three hours." Full article here .

Microsoft did everything they can to limit depositions to former Windows executives Jim Allchin and Will Poole but the judge wanted the biggest executive for questioning. Judge Marsha J.
