"But in her ruling (read it here, PDF), Judge Marsha Pechman said Friday that plaintiffs had shown that Ballmer may have had unique knowledge." Microsoft did everything they can to limit depositions to former Windows executives Jim Allchin and Will Poole but the judge wanted the biggest executive for questioning.
Judge Marsha J. Pechman said in her ruling — “The court appreciates that there are severe demands on Mr. Ballmer’s time; however, a busy schedule cannot ’shield’ an executive from discovery”.
