No new Asus netbook models? Taipei Times report that Asus may not release new netbook models until the 2nd quarter of 2009 due to an inventory problem. On Jan. 8, the company issued an emergency statement, saying it would revise downward its fourth-quarter shipment forecasts across all product lines because of lower market demand. It also cut its gross and operating margin outlooks in the three months ending Dec. 31. Well, this is disheartening. We don’t want to see the innovator in netbooks give up their netbook line.
