... Pro’s also released in 2006 and also Mac Pros which were released in Mid 2006 which feature Intel Xeon Dual-core 2.66GHz or 3GHz processors (check out AppleInsider for more exact details).
The reason that Apple are choosing not to support these particular models is currently unknown, but chances are it is due to unavailable drivers, if developments are made I’m sure Apple will support these models.
