Android-powered HTC Sapphire handset to come out in May, say sources
High Tech Computer (HTC) is expected to launch its second Android-powered handset, codenamed Sapphire, in May, according to sources familiar with the company's latest roadmap. Earlier market rumors indicated that HTC's second Android-based handset will come out in March or April.

Android Authority — android_g2_may According to that “news” site we love to hate, DigiTimes , some anonymous sources from Taiwan are claiming that HTC’s Sapphire, the phone thought to be the G2, will be launched in May. If true this would mean that we won’t be seeing it next month at the Mobile World Congress show, which would be quite a letdown.  I still believe (hope?) that we’ll see it in Barcelona next month, but I could certainly understand if T-Mobile wanted to wait on the G2 a bit, since the G1 is still selling well.
