OCZ Technology announced the new Vertex SATA II 2.5-inch Solid State Drive series. The new Vertex SSD drives are MLC based SSD solution designed for consumers who ask for fast, rugged, and reliable solid state storage.
OCZ Vertex uses the SATA II interface and offers 200MB/sec read and 160MB/sec write speeds. It has 64MB internal cache. The Vertex series SSDs are available in 30GB, 60GB, 120GB and 250GB priced at $129, $249, $469 and $869, respectively.
