Intel, Cisco, Sun helping to develop supercomputer for weapons lab

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory said Tuesday that six Silicon Valley companies will be part of a business team helping it develop a new type of supercomputer designed to be about twice as fast as the lab's current best supercomputer. (link)
